TechniCity Enrolls Students from Around the World

TechniCity, the MOOC about cities and technology taught by UAP Professor Tom Sanchez and Ohio State University Professor Jennifer Evans-Cowley, enrolled 9,355 students from 154 countries.  Nearly 40% of students enrolled are from emerging economies around the world.     Thanks for the post. MOOC is a game changer. I have taken few cosures and love it; it supports the way I like to learn. I do think there will be emerging business models that will result from MOOC that will combine both small instructor-led classes with MOOC. I see a huge opportunity there. The value add will have to be significant to charge a lot for instructor-led classes.MOOC for sales training is going to happen. It may not be for everyone, but it will get those who are teaching an instructor led classes will have to up their game significantly otherwise they will be out of a job.
